Besides all the Disney, Sea World and Universal Studios, Orlando has this beautiful ecological park called "Wekiwa Springs State Park." It is a wonderful place to be visit while in Orlando. For those who likes adventures like hiking, camping, natural swimming pools, canoe and kayak, this will be a perfect place for you just a few minutes out of Orlando in Altamonte Springs.

The Timucuan Indians fished and hunted this area. The park closes when they have reached capacity so it is never overcrowded. You don`t need to make reservations if you plan to stay just a few hours during the day; only if you plan on camping. Canoes and kayaks can be rented there for as little as $14 dollars per hour.
